Early Years Family Support

What is early years family support?

Early Years Family Support is a free, voluntary and confidential program supporting families to have great relationships and providing parents with the resources and skills to help their children have the best start in life.

Family support can include:

  • Parenting programs –  in-home and/or groups
  • Attending playgroup/parent group
  • Home visiting
  • Working with parents to meet the needs of their children
  • Information, advocacy and referrals
Once we have helped your family identify what’s working well and what your child’s needs are, we can then start working one-on-one to make a real change.

Who is eligible?

Families experiencing difficulties who have at least one child aged 3 years or under, who live in the Hawkesbury LGA.
Families in our program come from a range of different backgrounds and can be dealing with any number of issues, including:
  • parenting struggles
  • social isolation
  • mental health
