What is specialist homelessness services?
Specialist homelessness service is a free, voluntary and confidential program that supports families with children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We provide one-on-one support, tailoring our services based on client needs and their current situation. We can work together with other organisations to make sure you receive the right support and assistance.
Our Goal: Through a combination of practical support and guidance, families will be strengthened and see their lives turned around.
Who is eligible?
Families at risk of homelessness with at least one child aged 16 years and younger living in the Hawkesbury.
How can we help?
If you are experiencing difficulties and are needing further support, our Family Support Worker can link you to vital assistance such as:
drug and alcohol services
legal advice
mental health services
housing services
employment opportunities
vocational training
How do I get started?
To request assistance for yourself or someone else, simply call us on 02 4587 8091 and talk to our Specialist Homelessness workers. We will ask for the family’s details and some questions about their circumstances.
