A few words about

Who We Are

Who We Are

Strong Nation strongly believes that God has called us to make a difference in our community. We believe that it is not enough just to be faithful believers in Christ but that we should be faithful followers and doers of His word.

Mission

Serving our local communities – Being where the need is – Showing we care

Vision

Together, with our community, we will see lives changed and transformed.

Our plan

Strong Nation Community Service (SNCS) operates primarily and exclusively, for Christian purposes.  Compelled by the love of Jesus Christ and His commandments:  the aim, intent and purpose of SNCS is for the direct relief of poverty, suffering, distress and misfortune, disability and helplessness, within the Hawkesbury Local Government Area (LGA) and beyond.

SNCS aims to supply, at no cost:

Roles and values

SNCS staff and volunteers aim to engage with our community in a manner that shows we hold the following values:

Our commitment to child safety

SNCS Management and staff believe the safety, welfare and well-being of an unborn child, a child and a young person is paramount. We actively promote a safeguarding culture and seek to create environments across our organisation where all children can feel welcomed, valued, and safe. We acknowledge this is a shared responsibility amongst the Board, staff, volunteers, contractors, and families of children.

We value and support diversity and inclusion and recognise that children come from different backgrounds and have different needs. We believe that all children regardless of their age, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religious beliefs, ability, and family background have the right to be protected from harm and to be treated with dignity and respect.
We have zero tolerance of child abuse and are committed to actively contributing towards a child-safe community where all children and young people are protected from harm.

All concerns, complaints and allegations of abuse or suspected abuse against any child or young person will be taken seriously and dealt with promptly and appropriately.

Accessibilty

SNCS is an accessible building. We have ramps into the building and lifts available inside the building. There are disabled toilets and great access for prams.

Interpreter services can also be arranged on prior request. Please call 02 45878091 to arrange.
